King will share best practices hospitals and health systems can employ to ensure their organizations remain adaptable in the evolving healthcare environment. Specifically, King will discuss the types of technology required to meet rising consumer expectations, such as interactive displays, digital whiteboards, companion tablets and digital signage, which will all be onsite for attendees to explore. The session will take place on Tuesday, August 10, at 12:45p.m. PT at the Consumerism/Patient Engagement Pavilion Theater, located in the Caesar’s Conference Center, booth C437.
“We are really looking forward to returning to HIMSS this year,” said Scott King, eVideon CTO. “The pandemic has emphasized the critical nature of digital patient engagement solutions, making this year’s event more significant as healthcare leaders look for technology partners with deep expertise in this space and who offer a flexible solution that integrates with their current tech stack and optimizes their EMR investment. As healthcare trends towards a more consumer-driven model, and patients become more connected than ever, it becomes a necessity for hospitals and health systems to modernize the care experience for patients, their families, and clinical teams.”
As part of eVideon’s participation in the UpNext Innovation Gallery, Heather Wood, eVideon’s VP of Clinical Innovation, will showcase the latest extension of its platform, HELLO, a cloud-based, HIPAA-compliant, virtual visit solution. Without cumbersome download or password requirements, the user experience is designed to work on any device and connect patients, loved ones, and clinicians from anywhere at any time. HELLO not only enhances patient care and experience, but also yields greater nurse satisfaction by minimizing administrative burden and allowing nurses to focus on clinical responsibilities. Attendees can access eVideon’s UpNext video via the HIMSS Digital Conference platform.
eVideon will be demoing its interactive technology at the Las Vegas conference, with CEO Jeff Fallon, and CTO Scott King in attendance, August 9-13 at booth C453. Reporters interested in meeting with an eVideon executive may contact Cate McGeady at cmcgeady@ariamarketing.com.
