Grand Rapids, MI (February 9, 2016) — eVideon announces it has completed installation of its signature Patient Experience Platform at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.
“Mary Free Bed is an ideal partner as a growing hospital with a clear commitment to improving the patient experience through innovative technology and design,” said Jeff Ingle, founder and president of eVideon. “They are a great fit for our interactive patient experience platform, which provides additional comforts for patients while streamlining workflows for hospital staff.”
The system is designed to complement a $66 million expansion at Mary Free Bed – the first phase of which was recently completed – including the addition of state-of-the-art technology and private rehabilitation patient rooms. The eVideon software is integrated over televisions in 141 patient rooms and 180 total locations throughout the hospital including exam rooms, lobbies, staff areas and waiting rooms. Patients are able to enjoy over 80 Hollywood movies selected specifically for Mary Free Bed patients and 60 HD television channels.
In addition to entertainment options, eVideon automates routine compliance tasks such as allowing patients to view information on patient rights and responsibilities, allowing clinical staff to focus their efforts on patient care. The platform also provides patients with a personalized experience and delivers information on upcoming events and available services.
eVideon developed the first interactive patient care system distributed over the facilities data network to deliver entertainment, patient education and a variety of interactive applications that enable patients to become more actively engaged in their care.
