Smart room technology sets a new standard for patient and staff experience
GRAND RAPIDS, MI – May 10, 2022 – eVideon, a leader in smart room technology and digital care experience, announces it’s working with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, a multidisciplinary academic medical center located in Columbus, Ohio, on the main campus of The Ohio State University.
eVideon’s Vibe Health platform, a fully integrated, smart room technology, will deploy in July at the Ohio State Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. The Vibe Health platform is also slated to be incorporated in Ohio State’s new inpatient tower, opening in 2027.

Using Vibe Health Engage interactive TV, Insight digital whiteboard, Companion bedside tablet and Aware digital door sign products, the platform will integrate with the hospital’s electronic medical record (EMR) to provide a uniquely personalized experience to patients and their loved ones throughout their stay. Via the Smart TV, patients can access best-in-class entertainment as well as educational content tailored to their individual preferences, age, condition, and language. Further, patients can submit requests for items or services to appropriate departments, bypassing the nurse call button and allowing nursing staff to focus on clinical care.
